James Brown is an American painter, sculptor, draughtsman and graphic designer.

Born on October 26, 1951 in Los Angeles (California) and died February 22, 2020 in Mexico City.

He worked between Paris and Oaxaca de Juárez (Mexico). He reached the height of his fame in the 1980s with a semi-figurative painting style akin to cave art.
