L'ATELIER MADOURA

1938 - 1977

Founded by Suzanne Ramié, Madoura is a famous ceramic workshop in Vallauris where the greatests came to create. Amongst the guests of the Ramié couple is Marc Chagall, Victor Brauner, Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso of whom they became the exclusive editor for his ceramic artwork. Closed since 1997, the Atelier Madoura is now a place dedicated to “art, history and creation”.
