A major figure in the history of modernity, Charlotte Perriand is a French architect and designer linked to the European, Japanese and Brazilian avant-gardes. Charlotte Perriand was one of the few women to make a name for herself in the architecture field during this period. Her work is greatly influenced by Japanese culture. Throughout her career, Charlotte Perriand collaborated with great names in architecture such as Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Jean Prouvé.
