ABOUT THE ARTIST

David Surman (born in 1981) is a British artist based in London. His work explores the boundaries of figuration through animal imagery, blending expressive gesture, art history, and popular culture. A graduate in animation and film studies, he has gained international recognition. His works are held in major public and private collections, including the UK Arts Council Collection and the McEvoy Foundation for the Arts.
