BENGT LINDSTRÖM

1925 - 2008

Often described as an artist of the CoBrA movement because of his friendship with Asger Jorn, Bengt Lindström is a Swedish artist who claims to be influenced by the Nordic painting of Nolde, Munch or Ensor. Rather influenced by folk art or mythology, from 1949, his works become less figurative and more vibrant. Bengt Lindström is also known for his outdoor sculptures and murals.
