A Polish artist and the only member of his family to return from Auchwitz, Maryan S. Maryan threw himself heart and soul into painting after the war. His distinctive works are marked by his past and his traumatic life experiences. His works have been exhibited in the most important galleries, notably in Paris and New York, since 1960.
